Inland, just a short drive away are the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and scenic North Yorkshire Moors, where you will find historic villages, too numerous to mention, Pickering with its steam railway, Dalby Forest and the famous, historic city of York is well worth the 45 minutes drive.
